Gujarat is set for a significant urban facelift as Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has given the green light to development projects totaling a massive ₹4,179 crore. This ambitious initiative, part of the ‘Urban Development Year–2025’ program, will span 19 cities, encompassing seven municipal corporations and twelve municipalities. The lion’s share, ₹3,768 crore, is specifically earmarked for critical infrastructure development, including substantial allocations for Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and Rajkot. The plan aims to bolster civic amenities, improve connectivity, and enhance the overall quality of urban life, marking a major investment in the state’s future. [2]
